The Ministry of Foreign Affairs publicly announces that - as laid down in the article 89 of the Administrative Procedure Code (APC) and approved by Decree-Law n.º 4/2015, of 7 January, by decision of His Excellency the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Augusto Santos Silva - the procedure for approving the regulation of the legal system of the new diplomatic identity card (DIC) which creates and regulates the issuance and use of the diplomatic identity card was initiated -  in compliance with article 14 of Decree-Law nº 81/2019, of 17 June.

During the period of 10 (ten) days, starting from the date of the publishing of this announcement, those interested can present their contributions for the elaboration of the regulation referred above, by means of written communication addressed to Her Excellency, the Chief of Protocol. It shall be sent to the following address: Largo do Rilvas, 1399-030 Lisbon, by registered letter or by e-mail to sp.ddp@mne.pt. This communication shall include name, tax identification number, respective e-mail and a consent to allow its use for the purposes laid down in subparagraph c) of the n. º 1 of Article 112 of the APC.
