The ballot papers for the 2019 Presidential Elections in the Republic of Guinea-Bissau, arrived today at 17h00, in a civil flight chartered by the Portuguese State.

This support to that electoral process is part of international efforts that have been carried out by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP).

Portugal's support includes the provision of ballot papers, constitutive minutes, summary minutes, tabulation minutes, proper electoral lists, discharge sheets of votes obtained and discharge sheets by gender.

Portugal continues to call for the holding of the 2019 Presidential Elections on 24 November and for political stability respecting the Constitution of the Republic of Guinea-Bissau.
